This Roswell, Georgia brick home is a perfect example of how the right exterior paint strategy can modernize a classic structure while making the home bolder, brighter.
The original 19080’s builder brick red brick had great potential, but the homeowners wanted something bolder, cleaner, and more contemporary.
Our team started by permanently removing the shutters to simplify the façade and make the front bigger without the unnecessary cut up. This was a great idea by our color consultant and the homeowner combined.
We patched those holes and prime sealed the brick. We are experts at painting brick and when brick is painted for the first time, it must be done the right way. Otherwise, years of constant coating failure can haunt the owners. You want it to stick right the first time and have that undercoating stick forever.
After the brick was pressure washed and treated with a brick specific primer we applied the two top-coat specialty brick paint system. This ensuring long-term durability while maintaining the natural texture of the masonry.
The front brick steps were painted to match the home, creating a seamless and intentional entryway. Our customer commented on how much brighter the walkway and entry way looked.
The metal roofs were painted, and the metal railings were finished in a sleek black gloss.
The eaves and fascia (trim) were the finishing touch — framing the home beautifully and providing just the right amount of modern definition.
